The Pilates method of movement incorporates modern exercise principles, and applies proven and accepted practices in biomechanics, rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. The exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints. The exercises help both men and women develop optimal strength, flexibility, endurance and posture, without building bulk or stressing joints. Pilates is suitable for any age and ability, and is the perfect compliment to your yoga asana practice, cardiovascular exercise, athletic training, and core rehabilitation. Tone your body, feel revitalized, and move with ease.

To establish a foundation in the Pilates technique, a one‑on‑one introductory session followed by five private sessions is recommended.  This allows Shonna to tailor a program to suit your needs.  Following your introduction to the Pilates method you may continue with privates sessions for more individualized attention, or participate in semi-private or small group sessions of three to six people.

A perfect option if you prefer one on one attention and guidance on specific fitness, health and wellness goals.
